But I also tried connecting them directly together, and still nothing. I have a 5-Port hub with my PC set as the uplink(since my specs are better than my dads) and my dads PC plugged into the first port and my Xbox360 plugged into the second port. But when either of us create a game, neither of us can see the game the other person created. But when I do the same thing on my PC, I can connect to the game I created on my PC. But nothing shows up, not even the game created on that PC. So I run Quake 3 again and go to multiplayer and browse Local games, and I have show empty and full games on. The console shows that everything loaded right and that the bots spawned correctly and that they have collected ammo and weapons. If I run Quake 3 on my dads PC and create a LAN game then it closes out and shows the desktop with the console. I have went to Control Panel->Windows Firewall-> and said to allow Quake 3. His PC is running Windows XP Home Edition and mine is running Windows Vista Ultimate. I just got Quake 3 and i have been trying to set up a LAN game to play on with my dad.
